| The crane arm and pneumatic cylinder arangement are the Lego Company's design, but all the rest was mine.
I made it in a three car set: one car for the battery box, the one long
flatcar in the middle, and last but not least the crane. The motorized
pump in this picture is not currently connected to the motor because I needed the wheel for something else. The base of the
crane arm is on a 4x4 red turntable and the winch mechanism is hand powered.
The slight problem of this design is illustrated in these three images: 1, 2, 3. In short, the arm is not long enough to reach the flatbed:-( Oh well, use author power:) |
